The foundational milestone for Gonzaga occurred in 2005 during the 10th Anniversary of Loyola High School in Dar es Salaam. This event brought together key figures, including the Doherty family from Canada and Jesuit Fathers working in Tanzania. Witnessing the plight of orphans and vulnerable children in Mabibo during community service activities ignited the vision for a new educational institution dedicated to serving disadvantaged children.

2008: Official Inauguration and First Intake

  • January 14, 2008: Gonzaga welcomed its first cohort of 200 students, ranging from pre-standard one to standard three. This marked the beginning of Gonzaga’s educational journey, laying the foundation for academic excellence and holistic development.

2018: A Decade of Impact – 10th Anniversary Celebration
